The ‘Answers to Thriving' is an interview series that takes a look at the women who have created a life of self-success. We uncover key moments, lessons and habits that have influenced the life they lead today.
A cuddle with my boys.
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, “I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
I get a massage every couple of weeks and I take beautiful indulgent candle lit baths. Love it.

I listen to so many! My favourite at the moment is Marie Forleo's because she's just launched her book and has amazing energy and is having incredible conversations with awesome humans.
Can I recommend my own book? ;) ONE LIFE - by Tina Tower. It shares the stories and lessons to help you to take this one life and live it fully.
I read a lot, I listen to a lot of podcasts and I go to a lot of events and seminars. I am a pretty big personal development junkie. I do think that to be the best version of ourselves we have to constantly be open to change and improvement and learning.
Rachel Hollis. She's been at it a long time but has just burst through the stratosphere and is incredible at what she does. Her message and the way she shares it is inspiring.
It's so valuable to have that person who can hold space for you, believe in you, challenge you and advise you.
There's not really one singular person, there's many. I have had a beautiful leg up by so many people, organisations and coaches. I've had a different business coach every couple of years right through my 15 years in business and it's so valuable to have that person who can hold space for you, believe in you, challenge you and advise you.
Selling my company in 2016. I started a small suburban tutoring centre in 2004 and built it to a National Franchise Network with over 30 locations before it was acquired. To build something like that from just an idea, that helped to touch so many lives was a great moment.
The fear that I am not good enough. We've all had that at some point though right? Often I've felt like my dreams are too big and 'what right do I have to go after that?'. But really, why not? There's people out there going for massive things and living these big, glorious lives, why not me too? Why not you too?

It's all going to be ok. Just roll with it.
Start small. Start with one small thing that you want to change. When you achieve that, it gives you confidence to then go onto the next thing and the next thing. Dream of the life you want to lead and then go about systematically making that a reality.

The most important metric for success is joy. For me, thriving means having all of the areas of my life feeling great. Family, the work I do, health, friends, adventure, I want all of the areas to match my expectations, that's when I feel truly happy.
ONE LIFE is launching on 12th November! I'll be travelling around Australia on a book launch tour and would love for people to come along, celebrate and get some inspiration. You can book here.
